MEE Plant

Multiple Effect Evaporators (MEE) are industrial process equipment designed to efficiently concentrate solutions by removing a portion of their water or solvent content. They operate on the principle of reusing the heat energy from vaporized water to evaporate more water in subsequent stages, significantly improving energy efficiency. M.O.C.S.S 304 / 316 / 316L.

• Key Components and Functionality:

• Feed System: Introduces the solution to be concentrated into the evaporator.

• Heating System: Provides heat energy, typically using steam or hot oil, to initiate evaporation.

• Evaporation Effects: Multiple stages where evaporation occurs, with vapor from one stage heating the next.

• Vapor Condensation: Collects and condenses the evaporated vapor, often producing distilled water.

• Product Removal: Extracts the concentrated solution from the final stage.

• Control System: Monitors and adjusts process conditions for optimal performance.
